Based on what you have learned about the role of the English Parliament, how do you predict it will react to a controlling ruler?

  1. I predict that the controlling ruler will not follow that kind of role on his empire.

  2. If a controlling ruler were to come to power the English Parliament would immediately seek a way to terminate it before the ruler would cause too much damage. Having done so to Edward I 795 years ago, they would do it again to keep the country out of panic and strife.

  3. I think English Parliament would react by trying to limit the ruler's power or even removing the ruler before he gains too much power.

  4. Based on what I have learned about the role of the English Parliament, I predict that with a controlling ruler came to power, it would search for a method to end it prior to the ruler causing too much harm. Also this would limit the rulers power or replace the ruler prior to him obtaining too much power
